Do I need a subscription to launch a campaign?
Yes, an active ad:personam subscription is required to launch live campaigns. ad:personam offers two plans tailored to different advertising needs:
- Starter Plan — Perfect for display campaigns
- PRO Plan — Required for video, audio, and Connected TV (CTV) campaigns
You can set up your advertiser account and explore the platform for free. A subscription is only necessary when you're ready to activate and run live campaigns.
How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Changing your plan is straightforward:
- Visit the Billing Portal through your Profile or Dashboard
- Select your new plan
- Changes are processed using pro-rata billing
How pro-rata billing works:
- Upgrading — Additional costs are calculated based on remaining time in your billing cycle and added to your next invoice
- Downgrading — You receive a credit toward future billing for the unused portion of your current plan
This ensures you only pay for what you use, making plan changes fair and flexible.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Absolutely. You have complete control over your subscription:
- Cancel anytime through the Billing Portal in your Profile or Dashboard
- No cancellation penalties or fees
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- Continue using all features until your subscription expires
This flexibility lets you manage your advertising spend according to your business needs.
I don't need a plan right now—can I pause my subscription?
While there's no direct "pause" option, you can:
- Cancel your subscription anytime without penalties
- Resubscribe later when you're ready to launch new campaigns
- Keep your account and data — everything stays intact when you resubscribe

How do I pay for my campaigns?
Campaign payment is straightforward:
- Receive your invoice via email after setting up your campaign
- 14-day payment window to complete payment
- Secure payment options — Credit card, bank transfer, or digital wallet (powered by Stripe)
- Campaign activation — Your campaign goes live on the scheduled start date once payment is processed

Can I add funds to my account?
Yes. The Credit Balance feature acts like a digital wallet for your campaigns:

- Go to "Subscription & Balance" section in your Profile
- Choose your top-up amount and currency
- Pay the generated invoice securely through Stripe

Can I make changes to my campaigns after they're live?
