How to Look Up Domain Inventory with Domain Query

Look up marketplace inventory for any domain on ad:personam. See available channels, ad types, countries, ad sizes, and content categories instantly.

Before you commit budget to a campaign, it pays to know exactly what inventory a domain offers. The Domain Query tool gives you an instant, detailed breakdown of any domain in the ad:personam marketplace — channels, ad formats, geographic reach, creative sizes, and content categories — so you can plan with confidence.

Access: Navigate to Media Planner > Domain Query in the ad:personam platform.

What Domain Query Shows You

Enter any domain (e.g. yahoo.com) and ad:personam returns a comprehensive inventory profile:

Data PointWhat It Tells You
ChannelsAvailable advertising formats — Display, Video, Audio, Native, CTV, In-App
Ad TypesSupported creative formats — Image, Third-Party, Rich Media, Native, Audio, and more
CountriesGeographic markets where the domain has available inventory
Ad SizesStandard IAB creative dimensions grouped by Web Display, Mobile, and Video

This information is sourced directly from the Adform DSP marketplace, giving you real-time visibility into what is actually available for programmatic buying.

How to Use Domain Query

1. Enter a Domain

Type or paste a domain into the search field. The tool automatically strips protocols and prefixes — so https://www.yahoo.com/news becomes yahoo.com.

2. Review the Results

After clicking Look Up, results appear in a structured card layout:

  • Channels are displayed as badges at the top alongside the domain name, giving you an immediate overview of which advertising formats (Display, Video, Audio, Native, CTV) are available.

  • Ad Types lists every supported creative format. This tells you whether you can run standard image banners, rich media, native placements, third-party tags, or audio creatives on that domain.

  • Ad Sizes groups available dimensions into Web Display, Mobile, and Video categories. Each size is labelled with its IAB standard name (e.g. "728×90 Leaderboard", "300×250 Medium Rectangle") so you know exactly which creatives to prepare.

  • Countries shows every geographic market where inventory is available, sorted alphabetically with country flags for quick scanning.

Practical Use Cases

Campaign planning: Before setting up a campaign, verify that your target domains support the channel and creative formats you need. If you are planning a video campaign, confirm that video inventory exists on your shortlisted domains.

Creative development: Check which ad sizes are available on key domains so your design team produces the right creative dimensions from the start — no wasted effort on unsupported formats.

Geographic validation: Confirm that a domain has inventory in your target markets before adding it to a targeting list.

Inventory discovery: Explore domains you are considering for the first time. A single query reveals the full scope of what is available, helping you decide whether to include a domain in your media plan.
